The international TV BRICS network is launching a media project about the latest technological developments and world-class scientific discoveries made in Russia. As part of the project, a series of television programs, Laboratorium ("laboratory"), is being created, introducing viewers to the achievements of university and academic science, successful scientific and technological companies, and modern scientists. The program's premiere will take place on July 10 on the TV BRICS channel. After airing in Russia, the Laboratorium series will be dubbed into English, Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish, and distributed to TV BRICS media partners in various countries around the world. Thirteen episodes are planned, each lasting thirteen minutes. "Laboratorium is a sovereign innovative response to the global challenges facing the world community," said Ivan Zakharenko, head of the thematic broadcasting and special media projects department at TV BRICS. "The project presents cutting-edge research that shapes the future and creates a platform for scientific and technological cooperation among BRICS+ countries." According to him, the international distribution of the Laboratorium program will promote Russia's image as one of the world leaders in training and supporting scientific specialists. The program format involves making the most complex developments accessible - in simple language and through clear associations. Understanding the subject is facilitated by the host, Lyuba, generated by a neural network. Laboratorium covers a wide range of topics in medicine, artificial intelligence, transportation, quantum computing, agricultural technologies, and other areas. The Laboratorium series was created during the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia and in the Year of Russia's Chairmanship in the BRICS association, which prioritizes increasing international cooperation in technology transfer, supporting joint high-tech productions, and expanding technological and scientific alliances with various states. The media project is being implemented in accordance with the state program "Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation" with the support of AO "Popov Radio Corporation".
