A modern highway will be built from Moscow to Vladivostok, with a total length of 10,000 km, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced. This project will help develop domestic tourism, as the route will pass through dozens of regions. Currently, the toll road from Moscow to Kazan is already open. In the near future, the highway is expected to extend to Ekaterinburg and Tyumen. Additionally, bypass routes will be constructed around Omsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, and Kansk. In connection with this, Vladimir Putin reminded about the goal set in his address to the Federal Assembly – to reduce border queues and decrease the standard inspection time at checkpoints to no more than 10 minutes.
