Centrifuge
Anyone who dreamed of becoming a cosmonaut or pilot as a child loved this ride. Introduced in the 1970s, it allowed people to feel the force of centrifugal acceleration. Standing on the spinning platform wasn’t easy, especially after lunch!
Satellites
In Gorky Park, this ride took almost 10 years to build! It featured two "satellites" that rotated in opposite directions. Only those with a strong sense of balance dared to ride.
Dead Loop
In the mid-1950s, such swings appeared in many Soviet parks. On one end was a two-seater plane, and on the other, a counterweight. The swing rotated around a horizontal axis.
Illusion
This box-like structure wasn’t as simple as it seemed. Visitors felt as if they were rotating 360 degrees while seated on the ride, though in reality, only the room itself was moving. Despite its simplicity, the "Illusion" was considered one of the most impressive attractions in the USSR.
