On July 20, the sky over the beach of the 300th Anniversary Park of St. Petersburg will be filled with a variety of flying creatures and other whimsical constructions as the "Legko Fest" kite festival takes place.
The festival, familiar to St. Petersburg residents since 2012, is oriented towards a family audience, offering numerous activities to ensure no one gets bored. There will be free workshops in tents (including Zumba, Irish, and Hawaiian dance classes, etc.), training sessions, and performances by artists.
On the main stage, the audience can look forward to a chemical show by Galileo, circus performances, magic tricks, and a bubble show. There will also be an open lecture hall and a large children's area. And, of course, the audience will be treated to a big kite show.
You are welcome to bring your own kite, but if you don't have one, you can purchase a "pet" on the spot.
"Legko Fest" is a large and vibrant celebration with numerous venues, entertainment, and interactive zones. Visitors can participate in workshops, training sessions, and open lectures. Children will be greeted by a large play area.
Hundreds of kites of the most unusual shapes and colors will be launched into the sky.
