The official website has published the business program for the Eastern Economic Forum – 2024, which will take place from September 3 to 6 in Vladivostok at the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation. The program includes about 100 events divided into seven thematic tracks. Participants will discuss topics such as: Prospects for the integration of BRICS, SCO, and EAEU unions; Energy transition; Strengthening digital security, the industry of new materials, additive technologies, and industrial robotics; Mechanisms for managing intellectual property results; Improvement of the "Far Eastern Hectare" and "Far Eastern Mortgage" programs; Functioning of the special administrative region on Russky Island in Primorsky Krai; Comprehensive development of territories and the creation of a comfortable urban environment; Attraction of talented youth and the formation of human resources; Increasing access to medical care in the Far East; The future of the Northern Sea Route, Far Eastern aviation, transport corridors, and new maritime directions, etc. "The global changes taking place in the world require new approaches to economic development and cooperation between states. This is the basis for the main theme of the forum – 'Far East – 2030. Let's unite efforts, creating opportunities.' If last year we summed up the results of a decade of macro-region development, now participants will have to discuss the future of the Far East and outline new directions for its development," said Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov.
