450 schoolchildren from a dozen countries met to compete in six sports: 3x3 basketball, volleyball, table tennis, swimming, chess, and wrestling.
Many have already received their awards. For instance, athletes from Kyrgyzstan won the volleyball finals. Chess players and swimmers from Armenia also won gold medals.
Throughout the week, the young athletes not only competed but also participated in cultural events: they visited the Tretyakov Gallery, Red Square, and Patriot Park.
"Thank you all for coming! I hope you leave with the kindest memories of Moscow. And, of course, I hope that you have made new friends here, friendships that will last for years to come," said Irina Rodnina, federal coordinator of the "Children's Sports" party project and three-time Olympic champion.
