On November 16-17, the Moscow Museum "ATOM" at VDNH will host the first-ever youth festival "Composites Without Borders"—an important event for everyone interested in modern technologies and innovations in the field of composite materials.
The first day of the festival will be dedicated to people engaged in composites in various forms—popularizing science, working in design bureaus, and producing composite materials themselves.
The second day will focus on extreme sports, where composites play a key role: snowkiting, snowboarding, travel, climbing equipment, car racing, and hockey. Dozens of exhibitors will present the latest developments in areas such as aviation, automotive, medicine, sports, construction, energy, transportation, and design. Highlights include a composite paraglider by the renowned traveler Fyodor Konyukhov; the 900-horsepower hot rod Flying Brick (a project by Russian racer Sergey Kabargin); the Crimean roadster; composite snowboards, skis, longboards, hydrofoils, and snowkite boards; motorized surfboards; kayaks and SUP boards; state-of-the-art carbon fiber climbing gear, and much more.
Visitors will enjoy an educational program, including a "Composite Dictation" and mini-quizzes. The festival will also feature master classes on composite molding and a showcase of carbon accessories.
The event will be both educational and entertaining, with commemorative prizes for the most active participants. The organizers are the Composite Division of the state corporation Rosatom and the ATOM Museum. Admission is free with mandatory registration on the festival website: https://compositesforum.ru/.
